For our questions, no I don’t think Musk is good. He has been quite terrible for 20 years already. He has no place in government in my opinion. Unlike Trump who is just a whore for money, Musk actively goes against Taiwan as the 2 have a fued now. He is also actively ok dealing with the CCP which should be alarming. I view him as a very serious potential national security risk.
I’m no fan of Trump either.
Trump, very ignorantly, stated Taiwan should pay for protection.
Given we have no official protection from them, nothing to pay for. We already get screwed on weapons prices and we pay for them. The appropriate answer from Taiwan really should of been: “Make t official, on paper, full support for Taiwan and send us the invoice”. Might be our only chance to be respected as a country. Although we all know Trump is just a petty big mouth incapable of truth and being responsible for his deals if hings don go the way he wants. Hard to pay for an agreement when he goes around canceling them all the time. No one can take his word serious

You can know what it will do the stock market generally as well if inflation spurts up or unemployment numbers shoot up. The market will tank and a lot of middle class will get really pissed off as well.

The man has been going on about cutting some two trillion dollars (US$2,000,000,000,000 if I got that right) from the national budget. If they fired every single federal government worker, they’d reportedly save US$23.46 million / month, so clearly that’s peanuts. The plan would instead be to hack down every available social service—hence the almost gleeful promise of hardship.

Taiwan had a nuclear program, all they need is a green light from the US to continue it.
As soon as they start laying off govt workers en masse they would prompt a recession as the unemployment rate shoots up (this is the key indicator that tips economies into a recessionary mode) , which will massively dent government balance sheets and peoples savings as stock markets would tank, incomes and corporate and capital gains taxes would rapidly reduce and govt spending would increase on all the laid off employees.
Musk doesn’t have a clue and shouldn’t be anywhere near govt policy.
Maybe that’s how Trump breaks him. Teaches him a little humility. 
Could be handy to use Musk as the patsy.
Meanwhile Musk would no doubt continue to benefit from his cozy government contracts.
