So it’s like 2 underaged lover sexting and both gets charged with child porn and are labeled as sex offender for life?
That’s the kicker. Two underaged kids’ parents can’t really sue because both sides can be sued for statutory rape. For this case, the kid wouldn’t have done anything wrong in terms of age of consent. I guess it’s just the “act of obscenity” that’s illegal since they’re under a given age. Will need to read more about it.
According to what was posted above, it seems that having sex on public school grounds is what got the minor in trouble.
But this is Taiwan, so you never know.
Went to the riverside park yesterday. Saw a lady with three large macaw parrots. She let them fly around, which looked impressive. Huge bright-colored birds flying around. Now, I am sure there are tons of reasons why not to do this, but the one thing I found rather disturbing is the fact that the lady shot with what looked like a toy gun with white pellets at the birds to make them come back, which they did.

Yeah, I was watching the NYE show on TV too and was like “wtf did that guy say?” There was another rapper who kept using the word “Bitches” like he was so cool…Of course, the subtitles censored the word to “B**ches”

Yahoo TW has a “sale” on emergency equipment. Like bug out bags complete with emergency rations, first aid kits, etc. Emphasis on Made in Japan stuff. Wink wink.

Local teacher student sexual relationships seems more common than rare in Taiwan and in the news not infrequently.
And commonly involves an adult female teacher as in these two cases in this news report.

I would be more cautious looking the characters behind the gift horse in the eye.
This is weird. I’m surprised that two people could die so quickly from toluene poisoning. It’s toxic, sure, but not that toxic (it used to be, and still is I think, used in chemistry labs as a safer alternative to benzene).
No idea how they both managed to die sufficiently close in time that the other wasn’t able to raise the alarm, or how they ended up together under an Ottoman bed. 
When they [the wife and girlfriend] entered the apartment, they did not see Lin or Chiang, but after following the sound of the ringtones from their phones, the two were discovered without vital signs under an Ottoman bed.
A call was immediately made to the police. A preliminary investigation revealed that the deaths were caused by inadvertent inhalation of toluene during the decoration process, potentially during the assembly of the Ottoman bed.

I think the police is asking the same question as well, from some news articles I read. Likely foul play.
The article I read said the police had said there were no signs of foul play.
If toulene is that bad I should be dead several times over.

Maybe it built up inside the bed compartment and when they opened it they passed out. Or they had just laid a floor and had closed the door. Weird one.
