It’s pathetic how surface oriented people are.

I’m just waiting until plastic surgery catches on like it has in Korea where 2 out of 3 women have had some work done. I’m already seeing a new clinic pop up every month.

It’s crazy how many clinics there are now. We are only a step behind them here.

K pop is all the rage. So is labubu. I don’t have a single clue how either of them are popular..

Fashion. There was a time it was British pop music and troll dolls. Or hair metal and pet rocks. Or Australia, remember there were a few years when Australia was considered cool? Thank god that’s over.

The K-pop and labubu of its time

Pop music used to be pretty good. Theres an art to crafting a good Pop song, which it seems has died out everywhere but K Pop is particularly offensive to my ears.

Ive seen 50 yr old women with plastic encased labubus hanging off their handbags. That never happened in the 90s.. can’t speak for asia though, maybe it happened here.

Yeah! Back in the day no one would be so consumed by worthless toys! Everyone back than was so much smarter and had better taste!

Australia will always be cool.

Beanie babies? Not comparable at all to labubu. Try furbies instead, more or lesd the same thing. zero old people bought them..probably.

That motto needs criticism.

It appears that someone is either going to quit soon, or really wants to be fired.

Focus Taiwan Head writer: Our motto for this mth is “How having multiple sexual partners are the norm nowadays”. Try to include these words “partners, lubricant & penetrate” in your next article!

Junior writer: Say no more boss!!! :+1:

Not really. “Criticism” is one of those odd words that can be countable or non-countable (eg: “I have several criticisms regarding the current program”).

And I like the message behind the motto as there’s nothing more Taiwanese teachers like to do here than criticize their students. So I disagree about it being wack. In fact, it advertises an educational approach that’s sorely lacking here.

Someone pointed it out and they changed the headline.
