Anyone know if the water system is different for New Taipei City vs Taipei proper?

The water SOURCE is different. Most of New Taipei gets its water from Shihmen reservoir. Taipei’s water is from Feitsui reservoir, which has better water quality.

Would this link be correct in saying that “Sanzhong, Xindian, Yonghe, Zhonghe, Dansui and Sanzhi” also get their water from Feitsui reservoir?

That’s the official website of the reservoir, so I’d say it’s correct.

But even official websites make mistakes. That’s a typo of Sanchong.
