Habit is way better than in and out which I don’t go to anymore

Whoa, the burger in the pic on their homepage looks humongous.

I think it was 25k ntd (or a 8 night hospital stay in a private room in Taiwan) to apply.

This is an interesting point that I don’t know if a lot of people think about.

Hi Fei-Fan,
May I know your preference of “Better Bread”? We bake some breads now and then and would love to know your taste.

Think opposite of pandesal. Not sweet, not soft and squishy.

I don’t know if this is a good thing or a bad thing for me. But anyways, thank you!

We do bake pandesal too but not sweet like most of the Philippine bakeries do. I wish I could let y’all taste our bread somehow. Our pandesal is being sold at EEC or RJ’s in Zhong Shan. We got the regular, the whole wheat, and cheese flavor pandesal. We also got this kind of bread- Benjie Gorio on Instagram: "This is the usual view when you⠀ Live in a Bakery.⠀ ⠀ #Foodhaven #FoodPorn #EnjoytheLaptopLifeStyle #gastronomicdelights" I forgot the name but it ain’t sweet like the taiwanese breads.

6 posts were split to a new topic: From expats

Wow, that’s fast, from thinking about starting a business to already baking bread. Jeez, I did 10 years over it.

Thank you everyone. Your comments are highly appreciated. It got me thinking of ideas and which to focus on. Another reason why I posted this topic, is NOT just to focus on the Expats or foreigners in Taiwan, but to get an idea how to balance business between locals and foreigners/expats. When I say expats, I meant people from all other countries who resides in Taiwan.

Keep your comments coming. It is an interesting thread and at the same time, I learn from y’all.

Soon it will be the United States of Asia!

That’s something I’m still working on! After 22 years.

Actually, we already started baking breads couple of years ago. Just on a very small scale. I just want to get an idea on what are people looking for.

Go to the malls and department stores and you’ll see what people want when it comes to baked goods … mostly crap!
You’ll need to participate in an international competition and win 1st prize, then get investors lined up.
