Yes! This happens to me too!
What gets me out of that funk is interacting with Taiwanese face-to-face. Then I get reoriented and back on track.

That being said I think I had the opportunity for a ghost wedding last night. Decided against that though. Not sure being unable to hear your spouse makes up for being unable to see or touch them.
