I saw some movies in the past few weeks. The best is easily A Special Day (1977) starring Marcello Mastrioanni and Sophia Loren. Soooo fucking harrowing. I was blown away.
That would be awesome to watch there. It’s basically 2 parts of a film. When is it on?
Who should be cancelled? John Wayne or Stanley Kubrick?
John Wayne obviously for being a raging white supremacist and domestic abuser. Wouldn’t kick him out of bed but he should definitely be cancelled.

Didn’t like Nope much. Surprised so many on here seemed to like it.
I also think he was a dickhead, but how do you “cancel” a dead person? Deny him new roles? 
Even people who have been cancelled like Kevin Spacey haven’t had their previous films banned or censored. Just watched ‘Usual Suspects’ last week with TWO cancelled people involved (Spacey and Bryan Singer). So you can’t do much about Wayne except groan when people worship him as some macho archetype (fun fact: his real name was Marion).

I thought Get Out was good, but not worthy of the hype it got as like the best movie of the decade. I thought Us was watchable, but not as good as Get Out. And I have almost no interest in seeing Nope unless I catch it on TV or streaming one day.

I’d prefer not to waste my time cancelling anyone. If Hitler starred in a great movie, I’d still watch it. I can separate art from the artist, except in the case of pedos like MJ. I guess everyone has a line

Alec Guiness is brilliant. I recommend The Man in the White Suit, Hotel Paradiso, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, and the incredibly silly Murder By Death.

I never saw how it ended. It was over 22 hours long.
I’ve never seen it, but I’d like to now. I’m just so darn busy I only get to watch a movie on the weekend and nothing at all during the week. Hopefully there is a nice torrent for it. I’ll put it on the server and get to it someday.
You can watch a film starring Hitler, but not listen to a song by Michael Jackson? 
If this is about children, do you know how many childrens’ lives Hitler destroyed? (Hint: it’s a lot more than Whacko Jacko)
As for cancelling, I’m generally not for it as nowadays it’s abused to a ridiculous extent (eg: let’s cancel this celebrity because he made a bad joke on Twitter). I do make exceptions for certain reprehensible individuals like Bill Cosby or Kevin Spacey, but I don’t think their past works should be banned or censored.
