I have never seen this geoscheme being used. The North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) Includes Mexico. If it was Central America it would have a different name or include other central American countries.

Oh dear, here we go back to the point in the thread about americans. Which is, frankly, a far simpler issue than the above European one. Given that america represents 2.5 continents and only one country calls themselves american (easy issue to fix).

Goddamn stupid Gen-X brain. Thirty years after reunification, and my instinct on seeing “Germany” on a map like this is still to assume it’s pre-WWII.
That brain malfunction is probably right beside the same part of my brain that immediately assumes someone born in 1992 is eight years old, and that the 1970s were thirty years ago.
Neither initial reaction lasts more than a second or two, but still, those seconds make me feel really dumb.
