What’s the saddest song for you

What’s the saddest song for you in your dating life?

For me it’s this one . I can’t play this without a deep sense of melancholy ….

No it’s not the lambo crashing into a tractor

It’s the lyrics

On days like these ……
I wonder what became of you

It’s the sense of deep loss of someone extremely close to your heart who is lost forever . …a loss you can’t explain to yourself one that even though much time has passed is not forgotten….a loss you are still trying to put into the deepest recesses of your mind so that you are not reminded but yet you are .

The only good is the saying that it is better to have loved deeply someone than not to have known what it is to love truly with all your heart

Even if the pain of their loss will haunt you for a very long time

What’s the song you can’t play without a tear or two to tug at your heart strings ??

One of the character’s name is a trigger word, so the entire movie is ruined for me, especially this song.

This one stings for me

I don’t even know anyone who got Alzheimer’s

The saddest song for people that have nice things (whether it is women, gold or other booty) and the glare from those who don’t.

If you’re a fan of rap. This is the in my eye the only Taiwanese rapper I think is good. Unfortunately he died before his album was published.

This one is in Portuguese, and I probably shared before, but the video gives you an idea of what’s about…

Not necessarily the lyrics if you listen to it, but the music video deals with someone who collapsed and eventually died in a hospital (or at the very least was coding):

Love this one
Actually love Teresa Japanese songs even more than her mando ones

She was one of those diva legends of the 20th century

Such a beautiful melancholy melody with the sharp notes of the trumpet and the sax punctuating the air matched by Teresa’s powerful but soothing voice

Played this a lot when my ex left me…was heartbroken at that time.

Last night I had a crazy dream
A wish was granted just for me
It could be for anything
I didn’t ask for money
Or a mansion in Malibu
I simply wished for one more day with you
One more day, one more time
One more sunset, maybe I’d be satisfied
But then again, I know what it would do
Leave me wishing still for one more day with you
One more day
First thing I’d do is pray for time to crawl
I’d unplug the telephone and keep the TV off
I’d hold you every second
Say a million I love you’s
That’s what I’d do with one more day with you
One more day, one more time
One more sunset maybe I’d be satisfied
But then again I know what it would do
Leave me wishing still for one more day with you
One more day, one more time
One more sunset maybe I’d be satisfied
But then again I know what it would do
Leave me wishing still for one more day
Leave me wishing still for one more day
Leave me wishing still for one more day with you
One more day (one more day)

As long as we’re including songs from other Asian countries, this one does it for me. It most definitely has a sad break-up theme (on a rainy day like today with the music flowing, I miss you; when you left me, it was raining like it is now), but that’s not what makes it sad for me. I guess it’s more nostalgia. I was in my twenties, lots of friends, partying like crazy, etc. Luckily for me, it’s easy to avoid this Korean song from the 80’s here in Taiwan some decades later.
