Just wondering if anyone knows about any poutine spots in Taipei?
FYI, Poutine is fries + cheese curds + gravy.

Brass Monkey makes a very poor version of poutine. Frites + cheese sauce + a very thin gravy. The sauce and gravy come in small cups on the side, but you could just dump it all on top like I did!
No cheese curds anywhere on the island, but Forkers and Whalens serve a reasonable facsimile. Great fries, decent gravy and mozza. Je me souviens those curds tho mon frere. Je me souviens.
I think On Tap has poutine. I can’t vouch for it, though.
I remember eating a decent poutine at Bongo’s, near Taida.
No wonder you’re all fat arses!
Calorie bomb!!! :ohreally: :roflmao:
Well, if we’re looking outside of Taipei, there is a decent poutine in Kaohsiung at a place on the corner of Xinguang & Chenggong Rd. near the 85 building on the harbor, but I forget the name.
Thanks for the reply guys! Been having poutine withdrawal for a while, hopefully it’ll satisfy the craving.
yeah, where is the mayonnaise when you need it?
I like poutine, but is the most overrated food ever.
It does taste nice, but it’s not real poutine. They just use cheese, instead of cheese curds ![]()
I’ve been having donair cravings lately - they can’t be found anywhere. It’s basically a gyro with a thick sweet sauce.
