Just wondering if anyone knows about any poutine spots in Taipei?
FYI, Poutine is fries + cheese curds + gravy.
I was teaching some grade 5 students about Canadian food for their international education class, and something came to mind. I don’t know if there are any restaurants in Taiwan that sells poutine or anything that originated from Canada. Are there any local joints in Taiwan’s urban communities that has any Canadian foods available? Whether it’s poutine, tortiere, smoke meat, or beaver tails. I know two places in Seoul, Korea that has that. What about in Taipei or Kaohsiung?
And a specific thread about Whalen’s, which I believe served the best poutine I’ve had here. The thread ends in 2017 with them discussion of a new location:

Dining out in Taipei just got a little more exciting this week with the long awaited opening of Whalen’s. Alex Whalen is one of the coolest dudes I’ve met in Taiwan.
