Many friends available depends if you’re out going and say Hi . If you are a Christian or Catholic go to church you will get bunch of FRIENDS … Trust me…I am in Taipei…
I always enjoyed playing sports and making friends through that.

That’s… Not true at all. In fact, I’m pretty sure being someone who isn’t into meeting others a lot may actually work in your favor. Having a “friend” here consists in meeting him every other month.
Edit : then again, if you’re a shut-in with social anxiety and unable to make friends after school/college, maybe leaving your country where you have to deal with this issue was a bad idea.
Every other month? What are you? A stalker?
Try once or twice a year.

Honestly, I’m new here. So, I’m not sure how this work. But anyway, I’ve got a question to ask.
I’m 19 but a shortie, like really really small. I always wonder how I can join an event without feeling small. I always wanted to have an English speaking friends, but I’m not sure how to find one that is not threatening for a shortie like me.
Also, is there anyone who own a volleyball club that accept beginner volleyball players like me? I want to play volleyball but I’m scared of joining one since it’s been ages I haven’t play it.

I’ve never been to Taiwan before, but I’m in the final stage of getting my Gold Card approved. I’ll be staying in Taipei for a short while at first around May-June.
I’m a Chinese Canadian and speak Chinese fluently, but I can’t write it properly. Whatever I learned in high school, I’ve mostly forgotten since I rarely write in Chinese—only speaking it with my parents, and we never write anything down. But I think I can learn!
I’d love to meet someone to study Chinese with. I’ve been taking a Coursera course from National Taiwan University on law and civic studies (Coursera is a popular online learning platform in Canada and the U.S.), but it’s not enough since my writing skills are still weak.
