I propose to call you “Terrestrials” from now on.
What level of disaggregation would agree with your sensibilities?
1 label for each 100 million people, versus 1 label for each 3 billion?
Why not 1 for each 10 while we are at it?
Or even 1 for 1?
That is the nub of it. I suppose the idea touched a nerve: how can they lump me / us / them with them / us.
See, thats the problem. These labels we bandy around are not so innocent, they carry baggage with them…heavy baggage.
