Why not use that more efficiently like studying physics or engineering.instead he reads the bible. Maybe he could read it in Greek and Hebrew and then Latin. That would be more impressive than just the King James.
If you know Hebrew, you notice more stuff even when you’re reading in English. It also helps with reading Biblical scholarship, which I do a lot. This way I know more of what they’re talking about instead of glossing over things. I’ve gone through beginning textbooks, which is the equivalent of two semesters worth.
I guess I should calibrate my statement on reading the Bible in Hebrew; I’ve started on small books like Malachi and Jonah.
