World's Highest IQ Record Holder (276) has read the Bible 1,000 times

Yes, agreed on both counts. :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

From the videos, I also find him to have an insufferability quotient of 391, which is close to the highest I’ve ever observed.

Your company must have a pretty severe hiring policy. You could have just rejected his application…

His IQ is 160 on the Wexler test, which is the highest ever. 276 is his score converted to the Mensa-Korea scale.

I suggest being a bit more skeptical…

He seems legit to me. Maybe you have an argument on why he’s not?

What is legit about his claim?

People who looked into him, found no valuable public contributions from this individual besides himself claiming having dubiously high IQ on several websites that he created.

I would imagine a highly intelligent individual would have no problems cracking some scientific problems and making a name for himself that way.

I see nothing than trolling on the internet from this man.

He created this?

Always brings my neighbors closer to the Lord. 1991 – so ahead of its time.

The championship has taken place annually since 1991, with the exception of 1992. It was originated by Tony Buzan and co founded by Tony Buzan and Ray Keene.

So he created that, which verified his iq? uh huh.

Birds of a feather

There’s at least two Wikipedia articles on him. Perhaps the transliteration of his name obscures some results?

Reminds me of Christopher Langan (claims to have IQ of ~200), believes in God.

He probably wrote them himself along with the other stuff?

When he was 2 ?

There’s also this:

Yet at the core of this legend lies a striking omission: Kim Ung-yong himself has publicly admitted that he never took any official IQ test. According to his own words in a major South Korean newspaper, the “IQ 210” figure originated from a casual, non-professional estimation made during a Japanese television broadcast when he was just five years old. There was no administration, no professional evaluation, no formal documentation—just a sensational guess that was later repeated without question by global media.

:sob:

You don’t have to be a genius to know that if God really wanted to prove his existence he wouldn’t be leaving it up to us to do it for him.

That’s not him. He went to Yonsei University.

A lot of polymaths “accomplish” very little. Maybe he’s one of them.
