Your first movie star/TV show crushes

Just interested who you thought was hot when you were young. For me I’d say Exhibit A (Julie Christie)

and Exhibit B (Wilma out of Buck Rogers)

Show I had pretty good taste as a youngster. What say ye? Who were your schoolboy/girl crushes?

Farrah Fawcett

and Raquel Welch (in junior high school, my friend had a Playboy featuring her)

In the Hawaii Five-O theme, there was this hot brunette (part Asian?) who suddenly turned around and looked at the camera. It was only a half-second shot, but to my 13-year-old eyes she was stunning.

EDIT – Oh, just managed to find her by Googling… story of the theme here

Wasn’t TV all in black and white then anyway DB?

Daisy Duke from the Dukes of Hazard.

Susan George. And Barbara Windsor.

oh yes, Babs windsor…not so hot now though

Claudia Cardinale (in “The Professionals”)

Nellie Kim (gymnast)

Yes! and in Sergio Leone’s “Once Upon A Time in The West”

Melissa Sue Anderson from Little House on the Prarie, but I was like 8 so I didn’t perv over her. I was in LUV.

At that age I was mesmerised by Becky Thatcher - or rather the artist’s portrayal of her - in my beautifully illustrated American edition of Tom Sawyer. Blond hair and freckles - wow!

:raspberry:  It was when I was four.

I was a wittle, wittle girl growing up in socialist Yugoslavia. I remember when Mom and I went out and bought our first color TV and rushed home so I could finally watch my favorite show in color. I was so happy.

It was called Otpisani and it was about a communist resistance group that operated in Belgrade during WWII.
I had a crush on Prle.
He was funny and brave and soooo cool. The rebel-without-a-cause type within that group.

I wasn’t really allowed to watch it until I lived with my mother at about 11. She only watches soaps like ‘Coronation Street’. Never really got excited by Ken Barlow.

I had fantasies involving Dierdrie’s spectacles and pinny.

I also had fantasies about Felicity Kendal

But you’re WEIRD.

Well, if we’re talking non-pervie early luv for freckled creatures, I’d have to add Bambi. I thought she was hot.

But who didn’t. . .

Emma Peel in the leather.
First.
Wood.
Ever.
