I have one and my pension information is all blank, someone on here either described the issue and what needed to be done or provided a link to a blog, haven’t gotten around to it yet.

That’s interesting, because I have my pension account linked to my post office debit card, and when I check my pension account at the ATM, it’s also blank. There is money in there though because I went to their office and checked.
I saw a while back on the credit bureau’s site you can check with a digital citizen certificate. I’ll try and find it when I’m home later

Same for me, before I could see my pension. I call them and they didn’t know why, they just said maybe because I have old ARC number.
For those who used the digital citizen certificate to get their credit report, what kind of data was on the credit report? I’m presuming for most foreigners it will just be empty since it is so hard for us to get credit. Does it list all the bank accounts we have? On time payments for phone bills, etc?
Also, I just completed the payment for my card. It says ten working days. Can anyone who applied recently confirm if it really takes that long? I imagine they say that to cover themselves

The day after making payment the card was printed and dispatched. I know this because if you check the progress of your application on their site you’ll find a 郵任號碼 which you can paste into the post office domestic mail tracking site and get the status of the shipment. The cards, or at least my card was dispatched from the Legislative Yuan Post Office.
It doesn’t say what kind of mail it was sent with. What’s the slowest kind of mail they offer here?
Fingers crossed I get it tomorrow ![]()

I had to go to the post office to collect mine, like has happened whenever I’ve received something from the government that needs to be signed for.
I’m not sure whether that’s usual or it just means that my postman is lazy and/or comes when I’m sleeping and doesn’t want to climb 4 flights of stairs so just shouts something from the ground floor that I don’t hear/understand.
My card just arrived.
So after applying on Monday morning, paying on Monday night, it arrived Wednesday morning.
So, the original site is no longer up, but through the internet archive I found a bunch of useful guides relating to the alien citizen digital certificate (you need to wait a while for pics to load):
Another day another government app. Unlike the NHI app, you need an Alien Citizen Digital Certificate to authenticate the Labour Insurance Mobile Services App ( Google Play / Apple Store ) where yo…

Do you want your Alien Citizen Digital Certificate to hold all your receipts online so you don’t have to check them every two months (except the old ones that change colour every two months)?…

So there have been rumours that some establishments that shall not be named here, are asking foreigners to provide a passport and their entry and exit records for the last few months. What better w…
This site posted by Andrew earlier also has some info, including how to register:

Ah cool! Was gonna say, would be a shame for such a good resource to go down
Is this your site slawa?
No. I am in good contact with the author on Twitter. We exchange knowledge on digital things concerning foreigners in Taiwan.

Looks like you can at least activate the card on Mac:
https://moica.nat.gov.tw/download_1.html

The credit report download page also seems to support Mac:
https://apply.jcic.org.tw/CreditQueryInput.do
Te page to pay taxes online I know from experience supports Mac too.
Not so sure about the entry/exit dates download page:
https://ncp.immigration.gov.tw/niaweb/entryExitForeignQuery
Can’t seem to find a Mac OS driver download, unless the ones installed during activation work
I was able to successfully download my credit report and login to the pension app with my citizen digital certificate today. All the pension data is there as expected. This is probably because I actually went in person a few months ago to update my ID number.
I was also able to get the entry and exit certificate, all no issues, and on Mac.
Trying to think what else I can do with it now ![]()

Frame it and put it on your mantelpiece until you need to use it again in ten years time
