Beer Alert & Directory V - Roaring 20s edition

It should be a minor crime to

A) charge 180 for this beer and
B) use a pint glass as a Jedi mind trick. It’s bullshit!
C) only offer one beer option

View is good. The Bali restaurant at Bitan

I don’t know why this picture is cut off and you have to click on it to see the full picture.

That is a good view to drink to.

Shame about the beer though.

Boy, you guys are making me want to have a couple cold ones tonight.

Next time you should check out the new Pizza Shack right by the footbridge. Equally awesome views, and very decent craft beer for 150 NT.

Aboriginal craft dark beer nothing special.

“Warrior Tears.” I like that.

I dunno. It sort of brings this to mind:

(sorry, can’t find an actual clip of the movie, where Thor is sitting around drinking beer and feeling sorry for himself).

Still like 23 Brewing Co’s Cucumber Sour (憂民) when paired with the right snack.

Looks interesting, but really?

But really what? It was founded by Japanese. Hence, the samurai.

Read the article. There are 3 commemorative bottles: one for each stage in the history of Taiwan Beer. Japanese, the «we will go back to retake China» and localization.

Or you mean the price?

The price, obviously. I can get a six pack for that amount.

Eh it’s a special brew? It’s about Starbucks «coffee» drink prices.

Aren’t imported beers also that pricey? Don’t kill me, I don’t drink.

If the drink doesn’t kill you, the cow will.

Yep! Seems like a lot for a Taipi. How special can it be? I got another local microbrew for $160 in a restaurant the other day. I mean, this isn’t a microbrew, I suppose.

Sort of. They allegedly tried to recreate the flavors of the past.

They should spend less on marketing and ads and more on brewing good beer.
