Can’t even get an answer to why this forum is called Flob.
Also, no one it seems is spending a measly 1-2k per plate on a full Xmas night out.

This is the first recorded usage on forumosa.com that has survived. The rather blase usage in a weblink suggests that the usage already had some currency at the time.
It was in use off of the site at this time presumably, and it would be impossible to say who first thought of it from this. It started to become widely used on the site without fanfare in 2007. This seems to be the first “meta” mention
