I vote for a weekday evening. I’m usually out of town or busy on weekends.
It probably wouldn’t be fair to Bob to have it on a Wednesday or Friday night so I submit that a Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday night at around 8pm would work best. However, if weekends are better for the majority, I could always SELL my spot, right?
Just my $.02 though.
I agree with this. In actual fact, looking at the list of some of the candidate attendees, none of this is fair to me. Given a personal plea from Elektronisk, the maxmum number has gone up to 16 (if Mr & Mrs Maoman can make it during the week, 14 if they can’t) but no more. I’d like to keep the weekend tables free for ‘higher yield per seat’ patrons’
I propose Tuesday 25th October at 7 - 7.30 p.m.

there is now a maximum? sounds like discrimination to me…

Well, there’s sod all in it from me apart from grief . I have an intended seating plan in mind plus resources to consider. We have to make up the bloody financial loss elsewhere!
But if Maoman can’t make it, do you want to be put on the waiting list?
I’m going to come anyway. And I’m going to order the exact same food. But get this – I’ll be paying full-price and boy, how I’ll LAUGH and LAUGH at all you schmoes paying less than me.
OK, as of now it’s booked out. We await Maoman’s cancelling of any appointments he may have to confirm attendance.

Can’t be accurate, unless there are two Elektronisks.
Oh f**k it! Where is Stray Dog? It’s his booking. :fume:
Sandman, shall I put you in the now vacant 13 spot? Seems appropriate. You can then have by my reckoning, 4 extra Guinness’s with the money you save. Just skive off early.
It looks like a great crowd indeed. But I can’t confirm for at least a week, which would be a bit unfair on the others, I think, so I should really decline. If I can get off, though, I’ll definitely swing by for some venison and Guinness. I prefer my venison to be distinctly green before cooking, btw. Much better flavour and texture that way.
