I don’t know, but I wouldn’t rule it out. I’ve certainly used my Taiwan Costco membership card in Costcos in Canada. You may find the credit card works.
The Costco in the US was the only place I couldn’t use my Taiwan Costco credit card. They looked at it like it was some highly suspicious and perhaps damaging object.
Usually just a big (~70 L) backpack and maybe a smaller one or a large carrier bag. It’s a bit heavy at the higher end of that range or above, though, yeah. ![]()
As @lostinasia already said, yes they do.
Additionally, some items are exclusively sold online, such as the Charmin Ultra Soft Bath Tissue , which is worthy every cent, btw ![]()
So many people here talking about toilet paper! Just get yourselves a bum gun and protect yourselves against omicron variant panic buying, in addition to being cleaner. It’s the 21st century. Southeast Asia already figured this out ages ago. Christ! ![]()
The carrefour in that area (closest mrt is daqiaotou)
It has all kinds of international foods. Its huge I only visited 2 of the floors so far (the first which is all restaurants and basement 1)
Are you saying there is something better than the Kirkland Signature Interfold 3-ply bath tissue? I require the softest of the soft tissue for my bum and with extra ply so there is no stinky finger.
I actually had a nice bidet toilet seat I bought from B&Q a few years ago. It worked lovely and saved me so much on toilet paper. During the big toilet paper shortage last year, I was living just fine with my bidet and only 1 sheet of Kirkland Signature Interfold 3-ply bath tissue to dry. Just the other week though, the mother in law came over and decided our bathroom was not up to her level of cleanliness. She did the Taiwanese way of cleaning and just spread everything down with water. I came home from work to a broken toilet seat. When I asked her about it, she said “I didn’t get the controls wet so it’s not my fault,” The controls are waterproof, the toilet seat isn’t really waterproof. All she said was oh and that we should buy a waterproof one. Now I’m back to living the dirty life of wiping my bum clean and going through all my precious Kirkland Signature Interfold 3-ply bath tissue. Gonna have to make a trip to Costco in the next 2 weeks to pick up more.
i never understood people hoarding toilet paper and not food. you can always wash your bum, but you can’t eat toilet paper.
The large bag of kirkland blueberries has been OOO for a while. I’m down to my last 2 bags. If anyone see them please let me know so I can restock.
Yes, that’s exactly what I am saying.
Save your trip and get the Charmin Ultra Soft Bath Tissue online.
You won’t regret. Your bum deserves the best!
If you do not have a Costco credit card you must make a trip to Costco to pay for them. They do not accept any non cash payments that do not come from their credit card or their issuing bank.
I’m kind of interested in this now. What do you do for napkins though?
At my house we just use the Kirkland tissue for everything; bums, spills, wiping mouths. I’d rather not just have a roll of toilet paper on my coffee table.
Oh you can, it’s a filler, and lots of fiber.
And FamilyMart sells Kirkland brand tissue. Can be used for anything, toilet, napkin …
Just a regular Kleenex or whatever good deal I can get on Carrefour. It’s not worthy wasting such soft tissues on cleaning spills.
I’m not sure Kleenex is even that much cheaper? They don’t print “100 sheets” on the packages anymore because they don’t have 100 sheets in a pack anymore!!! Meanwhile, my Kirkland TP has 120 sheets!! I’m quite confident it’s cheaper across the board to only buy/use Kirkland TP. I’m also rather shocked at myself that I’ve realized I’m so committed to Kirkland TP…
If you buy a large appliance from Costco online, a dryer, will the delivery company charge more money per floor if there is no elevator? Also what installation services are provided? Will they drill a hole in the wall to hook up the dryer vent?
I said Kleenex not but it could be any cheap brand.
You don’t need ultra soft tissue for other uses. ![]()
You can ask the rep at Costco, they should be familiar with this. They would know the answer to this better than anyone else.
no.
They will deliver and set it up. That’s it.
Electrical work for proper outlets requires a third party electrician at your expense.
Drilling holes in walls for vents is also a 3rd party task at your own expense.
I just use those dryer function the front loading washer has… they don’t require vents. Or place your dryer in the balcony and forego vents.
Get a gas dryer if you want it to work worth a damn though, or make sure it runs on 220.
