Talking about Indian curry and food in Kaoshuing at least, I found many places have cooks from India more so than Japanese (it’s rare to have any Japanese staff in Taiwan) or other non Taiwanese foods.

I know this place in Tijuana where for just five dollars you can…
It happened at the university of ottawa a few years back. A volunteer professional yoga instructor was fired because she was white and therefore cultural appropriation. The instructor said she could change the name to mindful stretching, because really that’s all it is, but she was told ‘no’. Then the student union hired a paid yoga instructor with zero experience because she was ethnically Indian. Tuition fees at work, paying the student union people to make the decision to use the money to pay more for less.
