I’ll travel to Kaohsiung for a real banana split. I cannot find it within a 20 minute MRT ride. Xindian surely lacks Western comforts.

BTW @DKaoshuing that coffee looks the way God intended it to be: dark as my soul. How was it?

Coffee is good for me, I like strong black coffee. (Some like it lighter, not me) Also some side dishes are nice

Banana split at local old fashion cafe-ice cream shop ( Ki A Peng Sian Minsheng Shop 枝仔冰城 民生店 ). They made where possible the Ice Cream with Kao/Ping area fruits, besides fresh local Banana fruit and Ice Creams, also Mango (there is tree in front, in the middle of the city) [Estonia33] [Estonia33] [Estonia33]
