My vote goes to… make the so-called black mode actually black!
Seriously, we now have dark gray and darker gray, but no black. It’s like the “black chocolate” from Japan(?) that’s actually lighter than “dark chocolate” from other countries. Why, Tempo? Why?? Why??? 
But anyway, once we have a real black mode, I’m totally fine with keeping the dark mode as an alternative.
