The finger ain’t shit, imo. Attempting to flee when the police were called. Attempting to operate the bus. Placing hands on bus driver. Those are troublesome. Then there’s the other passengers on the bus watching you wrestle with the driver.

Ok called Marco’s guys. I got told 2 things. First, the driver can’t file something because he also committed a crime, i.e. assault, unlawful detention.
Second go to the police and ask them to download the video footage, so that I have leverage in case he files something.
The bus driver can file. Lawyer can give you bad advice as well. Anyone can file a complaint. Whether or not he does is another matter. Lawyers only advise based on what you tell them which can be different from video evidence or the others persons statements. We only have what you write. Which could be incomplete or inaccurate.
Be interesting to see if any complaints are filed. Seems the police are not interested in your silly spat with the bus driver. One that you instigated.

My not legal advice would be to go to the police station and amend your statement. Say you were shocked and may have made a mistake and you realized you probably did show him your middle finger.
Hopefully for you, the driver has as much to lose as you in regards to robbing you of your freedom. Standing in front of you and shouting in your face in a threatening manner is not a crime necessarily.
Chances are that you will not hear anything anymore, but if you do, you can file a counter claim. Whatever happens, just admit and be contrite and pay the fine.
And do ask for the footage.
