I don't care about Tarantino, this is just a stupid joke

Don’t tell me you like the Night at the Museum movies…

I like Kurt Russell, but this was not one of Tarantino’s better films.

I liked the first one! The Reno 911 guys wrote them, they’re crazy.

Have you seen him playing himself in Ricky Gervais’ “Extras”? Really funny.

I think De Niro’s most impressive work this century was in Silver Linings Playbook, as the OCD father unaware of his own issues and addicted to sports gambling, and who couldn’t figure out why his son’s own bipolarity got in the way of recovery from his traumatic marriage. The way his Patrizio Solatano glommed onto Jennifer Lawrence’s loony let’s-take-a-look-at-Philly-sports logic, placing her firmly in the center of Solatano’s family, and the way he was willing to bet everything on it, was about as good as screwball gets in screwball comedies.

Haven’t seen the irishman yet, tho.

Agree to disagree (vehemently).

I have not. I’ll have to check it out.

It was just fun, mindless entertainment. Ricky Gervais was in it!

I have to admit that film didn’t do much for me. Maybe because that whole culture is pretty foreign to me?

Very good…but very long. I had to divide it into two sessions.

I’m a big fan of screwball comedy. Centering one around the NFL and ballroom dancing is definitely risky. Oil and water. SLP may be the best screwball comedy since Tootsie, imo.

Hmm, OK, may have to go back and watch that one again. My taste is changing all the time, so you never know.

Doesn’t beat the Neeson:

I’ve yet to watch The Irishman, too. Haven’t found the time.

I liked After Life too.

He’s not dissimilar to one of his heroes, Hitchcock.

Unfortunately, there’s no rule stating that people who are really good at what they do also need to be nice.

i watched the irishman on the plane. pro gamer move :sunglasses:

I always love him too. No one mentioned Dodgeball. That is a classic.

And Something about Mary taught me to whack off before dates. Golden.
