I’ve had flings with women in their 30s and the oldest I’ve dated was 28-29. And I’ve met 24 year olds that are way more mature than them.
Goodfellas, load of crap. Taxi Driver, overrated. Mean Streets, shite. Raging Bull, rubbish.
I mean, seriously?

Don’t forget Casino and Departed. Both utter shite according to the Gainster.

The only Scorsese film I didn’t like was Gangs of New York.

I never said “load of crap”. I said “overrated”. Goodfellas for example had its moments. Lorraine Bracco was brilliant, for one.
DrewC:
The Departed
Now THIS is utter shite.

It wasn’t his best. It was plagued with production problems and Cameron Diaz was an awful casting choice. But it’s still watchable.

It’s better than most of the other ones. Cameron Diaz and DiCaprio were awful but Daniel Day-Lewis was impeccable as usual.
I’d actually like to thank @gain for reminding me to go back and rewatch some of Scorsese’s excellent films.
Ooh, you’ve really lost credibility with this statement.

Wow, don’t go out on a limb.
“Had its moments” lol… ‘Romeo & Juliet’ was an okay play too.
I also thought it was DDL’s weakest performance.

Who directed ‘There Will Be Blood’ again? That has to be my favorite performance of his.
Were you one of the Dances With Wolves fans?
Yeah, it was a bit cartoonish, but he was the least of the film’s problems.

Paul Thomas Anderson, aka a director who’s actually good.
No, I’m an Ingmar Bergman fan.

I actually think that’s not a bad film. It’s not ‘Good Fellas’, but a bit unfairly maligned like most films that win Best Picture over a slightly superior film (see ‘Ordinary People’, ‘Crash’, etc).
After all, it has this brilliant scene.

Finally, something we can agree on! PTA is one of my favorites.

…except for those full frontal scenes you reminded us about.
Just out of curiosity, how many 3 hour films can you think of that don’t get boring even for a second?
Maybe because they cook better pasta?
Yes, but getting back on topic, would you vote for Leo as Best Romeo Ever?

You guys should start some kind of petition. Who would you like Di Caprio to date? (I nominate Madea.)
I think the ‘older’ women you dated were more leaning toward 20yo in older bodies then
