Right! I have no idea if this indeed was what the police were up to—but if so, it would certainly make sense, as the police were moving through crowded carriages on the blue line heading west, and doing so conspicuously.

Dunno about you guys, but in Xindian we have had a lot of people dressed up as reindeer or Santa’s helpers. Today I saw someone dressed up as a Christmas tree.
I’ve heard people having costume parties for some reason.

I have no idea how they are building the SanYing line, in bits and pieces, a little there, a little there between DingPu (they started putting up probably the connecting station) station and the freeway bridge near HengXi, nothing, nil. than a bit, a few pilars, than nothing until the bridge that goes to the BeiTa university area. Maybe some land issues, owners wanting the bottom of the can.

Yes you can see the next section is still a few years off. Enjoying the peace and quiet in Xindian before the dirty hordes from Zhonghe gain entry.
It always takes ages for them to finish the entire project.
