On the subject of taxes, has anyone noticed they are paying more each month? I usually pay my 5% and then make up the difference owed every May.
This financial year I seem to be paying more each month. It’s no biggie as presumably I’ll pay less next May. However, has there been a change in the tax rules or is it just me?
Maybe you over a certain threshold and they charge the higher rate ?
That’s always been the case. I’m actually earning less now than a couple of years ago.

In all seriousness, I am considering hiring a bf for my trip home. Middle aged, willing and able to withstand a gruesome 32 hour, 3 transfer trip. I assure you the trip is worth it, aside from the money, you will only stay at top hotels and see National Geographic sights. Requirements: must NOT speak Spanish. Hopefully pretend not to understand English. Asian preferred but not required.
