Yes, MM will come running but surely to defend the important issue of human rights which is a cause that lies at the very heart of the morality of his being. No? Er… well, then… um… yeah… but… Chris… no… MM… but it could be that… er… yes… um… no… oh well… I see… but…

Did the bills pass? Would be justice if he got hoist by his own petard (always wanted to use that phrase)
Well, well, well, we have another one:
North Dakota Rep. Randy Boehning Outed as Gay After Voting Against Gay Rights
blogs.citypages.com/blotter/2015 … rights.php
And just as the same sex marriage arguments are starting at the Supreme Court. Great timing and PR!
No surprise. It is always this way.
At least he’s not pulling the “I have sinned, please forgive me” schtick.
Here’s the part of the article I found most comical:
Dustin Smith is a gay 21-year-old who has received unsolicited dick pics from Boehning, 52, on the gay dating app Grindr… “That’s what gay guys do on gay sites, don’t they?” Boehning, who is unmarried and says he also likes women, told Inforum. “That’s how things happen on Grindr. It’s a gay chat site. It’s not the first thing you do on that site. That’s what we do, exchange pics on the site.”
I used that app when I was single and I never really appreciated it when creeps would suddenly and without permission send me naked pics. I always viewed it the same as someone flashing me. So not only is this guy a hypocrite, he’s also a creepy 52 yr old who flashes 21 year olds. I’m not sure who he means by “we” in stating “It’s what we do,” but let’s assume he means maladjusted middle aged closet case hypocrites.
Now that’s government efficiency:
Arkansas police have destroyed the records of the investigation into Josh Duggar’s alleged molestation of five underage girls, a police spokesman announced Friday, a day after the reality TV star resigned his position as head of FRC Action.
Springdale Police spokesman Scott Lewis said Judge Stacey Zimmerman ordered the 2006 offense report destroyed Thursday. Zimmerman didn’t return a request for comment on Friday.
“The judge ordered us yesterday to expunge that record,” Lewis said, adding that similar records are typically kept indefinitely. “As far as the Springdale Police Department is concerned this report doesn’t exist.”
Neither Duggar nor his father, a former state representative, returned calls seeking comment Friday.
Huckabee jumps in to defend the coverup. You may remember him as the guy blasting Barack and Michelle for being terrible parents for letting their kids watch Beyonce.
edition.cnn.com/2015/05/22/polit … ervatives/
In other parts of this story, the Duggars sent their son for counselling to a Christian home-schooling huckster who was later fired after thirty women came forward with accusations of sexual molestation, most of which happened while they were underage and sent to camps under this Holy Man’s control (the Duggars were regular attendees). The cop (also involved in this religious movement) the Duggars selected to give their son a stern talking to and straighten him out is currently serving 56 years for possessing and distributing child pornography.
The Republicans have essentially painted themselves into a corner. With their “family values” platform, they stand on the pulpit of self-righteousness, point their paternalistic fingers disapprovingly at us, the people, and demand perfect Christlike virtue of us. Since this is impossible for any human being to achieve, they will necessarily fail to meet the standards they expect of others. They thus make themselves hypocrites.
But lately, a lot of them have been failing in spectacular ways. And it’s entertaining to watch them fall in flames!

I like how F–kabee defends Josh Duggar boy, but no sympathy for the five victims.

Neither did the Duggars- in all their comments once this happened, not once did they mention their daughters- I mean, they’re only girls, right- nobody important.
The slime-pit gets deeper all the time: the billionaire Fundies behind Hobby Lobby’s anti-contraceptive suit are the guys who funded the serial molester who supplied ‘counselling’ to Josh Duggar. Because when the sluts get birth control the next thing you know they’ll be getting uppity and forgetting they’re a man’s property to do with as he pleases.
rawstory.com/2015/05/hobby-l … sh-duggar/
It’s been pointed out that the Duggars have naturally straight hair, and that perming is the sort of ‘vanity’ that is usually condemned. So why do all the girls that have gone through these centers have long curly hair? Because Bob Gothard, the guy running the centers, before he was accused of molesting more than thirty (mostly underage at the time) girls had a fetish for it, so it became part of God’s commands.
Campaign pictures you probably won’t be seeing: Josh Duggar, in his role as lobbyist for anti-gay hate group, with not only Huckabee but:
Jeb Bush, Ted Cruz, Bobby Jindal, Rick Santorum, Scott Walker, Rick Perry, RNC chair Reince Priebus; Jodi Ernst and of course…
Jim Bob Duggar, running for US Senate as pro-life Republican:
“I meant except when it’s my kid- then he should get a stern talking to.”

“By someone who really knows what he’s talking about.”
This one is really bizarre.
Former U.S. House Speaker Dennis Hastert agreed to pay $3.5 million in hush money to keep an unidentified person silent about “prior misconduct” by the Illinois Republican who was once third in line to the U.S. presidency, according to a federal grand jury indictment handed down on Thursday in Chicago.
The indictment, which does not describe the misconduct Hastert was allegedly trying to conceal, charges the 73-year-old with one count of evading bank regulations as he withdrew tens of thousands of dollars at a time to make the payments. He is also charged with one count of lying to the FBI about the reason for the unusual bank withdrawals.
I mean what kind of “prior misconduct” is worth 3.5 million?
That old line about being found in bed with a live boy or a dead girl comes to mind, but these days I don’t think a live boy would count, and Denny doesn’t really seem the killin’ kind.
Child support for underage teen mom?
Drrrrrr, I want his own family to not forgive him so that I can use them to white knight all over my enemies. Frahahahahaha!

Turns out that it’s a live boy, with the emphasis on boy, going back - oh, cliche- to his days as a high-school wrestling coach.
Knowing Denny had been a middle-class ex-teacher when he entered Congress, I wondered why he would pay out such huge sums. I hadn’t realised that while Hastert started out middle-class, he became a multi-millionaire while serving as House Speaker, mostly from real estate deals such as buying up a chunk f property and then having a federal highway built near it.
I also assumed that, being a conservative Mid-Westerner with a deep love of the Heartland and the Real Americans (trademark Sarah Palin) who live there, he would have returned to a simple life in his home state after leaving office.
Ha Ha Ha, as fred would say. Denis has been raking in millions as a lobbyist scmoozing in with his old colleaugues; that is what he was trying to protect.
