bravo.
Can’t find them on Ubereats

In the shop I might order a couple. Home delivery I’m thinking a dozen or more hanging around the house with friends on a Sunday afternoon or maybe a lot more for an office function.

Do you have any idea how much Uber Eats charges for its service?
Then again, with the ridiculously high pricing of its drinks, Mrs Fields would likely still make sacks of money at least on that part of their business. : D
Guy
Rent round there aint cheap and most rich brats shop with parents money anyway who cares about prices…
I care! Those drinks are expensive!
Guy
I saw the menu im not stupid i got cookies and left ,
Bought a 64oz jug o soya milk and washed them suckers down.
I agree the menu is nuts on drinks but im not shocked
Those milkshakes with the cookies in top or whatever they are look good though.

ICRT radio is giving away a box of cookies quick get ready call in
Got some.
Kind of underwhelmed.
They are very small and a bit on the too sweet side. Flavor is just as good as Subway.
So just get Subway?
Pretty much.
I don’t like Mrs Fields. Generic and tasteless.
Tried cinnamon sugar (no cinnamon taste), milk chocolate, and M&M. Can get better cookies in a box at the supermarket. I won’t go back except maybe to have a coffee or to get a giant creative celebration cookie just to be different.
Subway cookies are better at least twice as good.
Am I missing something?
Nope.
Nailed it.
Did AIT sponsor the bringing in of Mrs. Fields or did they just really want to use the AIT logo on that cookie cake?
That folks got excited for this …Is sad.
I feel sorry for people who grew up eating shite industrial confectionary /desserts and thinking it’s the good stuff.
Almost ANY neighbourhood teashop /bakery /cafe back home would blow that away . Even our school bake sale would have beaten it by miles…Subway cookies are way too sweet and soft as well and yes I have eaten a couple over the years.
I doubt this Mrs Fields will last long given there’s a lot of competition already from cheaper and localised Mr donut , or the popular coldstone and hagendazs places and all the convenience stores everywhere. Also a lot of people will find it too sweet , too many cals.
Mainly though I just can’t imagine going somewhere specially to eat ‘cookies’.
Sorry if I offended anybody.
Nostalgia.
Also, things from our past are almost always better in our memories than in reality. Our minds tend to fool us that way.
Never really thought it was amazing when I was a kid. Just a cool treat when at the mall.
By far, my mom’s baking was always a thousand times better than anything store bought.
My prediction as well.
I give them a year…two years max once the hype of something “new” dies down.
I got a few on my hands near their closing and am I the only one that enjoyed them?
I didn’t get the whole experience of going in and waiting in line as the wife was gracious enough to pick some up as she had some free time. Her only complaint was that it took awhile to be rung up. She wasn’t sure if it was untrained staff or the POS system they’re using.
They ran out of original, so I ended up with a bag full of Chocolate lovers. It was late, so I did not pair the cookies with a coffee, but I would assume it would have been the perfect pair. My only complaint is that by the 3rd cookie I got overwhelmed by the sweetness. I took a break before eating the 4th cookie.
I will go back to try out the sugar cookie and original, but maybe limit my visits as that’s quite a bill just for cookies.
Personally, I don’t think you can compare Mrs. Field’s to Subway cookies. Mrs. Field’s will most likely have a more consistent flavor in all their cookies. I have had Subway many times and have had their cookies almost every time I visit. I have had soft to overbaked cookies from them. I’m not sure how that happens as I used to work in a sub shop back in high school/college days and it’s not that difficult to f up.
I am guessing that this wasn’t intentional but I interpreted this two ways. ![]()
I liked them. Probably the best cookie I have had in Taiwan, although I haven’t had many. The one’s I have had were hard. Mrs. Fields were very soft.
Depending on when you go depends on if you get a line. I went around 3pm on Sunday and there were about 10 people in front of me. 15 minutes after sitting down and there was no one in line. I tried their milk chocolate chip, semi sweet with walnuts, triple chocolate, chocolate lovers, cinnamon sugar, walnut brownie, and hot chocolate. The hot chocolate was very good. The wife loved the semi sweet with walnuts and the triple chocolate was her favorite. My personal favorite was the semi sweet with walnuts and the walnut brownie.
the big problem in Taiwan for Mrs. Fields or similar type the cookies, Taiwanese people like cookies crunchy, if not crunchy, many will say that they are old,
