Or like IBM used to be International Business Machines and LG used to be Lucky- Goldstar, we could just rename

China Airlines to just CAL , using three letters on the fuselage only along with the plum blossom.

The chinese name can still be called Hwa Hang (short for Chong Hwa Hang Kong, which its already called in chinese).

win-win easy peasey

They are offering the vaccine -that they do not have yet- and loans to buy it to 3rd world countries. Local press is saying, oh, how nice of Chiba. Lovely.

Yes but Dynasty means OLD . And OLD doesnt work with NEW thinking.

I propose TDA (台獨航空).

Yep, but actually, there is not a lot of room to change the name.

Of course the first choice is Taiwan. That ain’t gonna fly.

Formosa is second place as disgusting in China’s eyes. So nope.

I fear we will have to settle for gulp Chinese Taipei. And yes, I am serious.

CAL may work like the bank CTBC which was China Trust (English Version)

*However chewing of betel nuts on board is prohibited.

The logo would be very cool.

Yeah, very distinctive, wonder why some marketing guru has not picked up on it. Maybe the divebombing is not an attribute you want associated with passenger aircraft?

No one cares where they are from. They are too cute.

Well, tell that to the songshan airport. They have a dive bomber relief on their outside façade. Even a Nazi Stuka one, nonetheless.
