More Tesla’s arrived in Taiwan.
No model Y yet
That’s per day, WTF.
I ended up buying a Tesla. Have been pretty happy. So far about 10.000km, no issues.
Those rental prices are pretty steep…
How economical is a Tesla if accounting for maintenance? I understand EV’s probably require less. I mean battery could be an issue…
Which one did you buy?
Do you charge it at home or go to the super stations?
Are there long lines when you go charge at a super station?
Why would someone buy a Tesla at a Taiwanese used car dealer? I’ve seen several for sale.
In the last couple of months I see considerably more Tesla’s around Taichung.
Our company owner also got one.
I hope Taiwan will introduce a subsidy for electric vehicles to speed up EV transition.
AFAIK they only subsidizing electric scooters.
They are cheaper than new?
I charge it at my office. Honestly super simple, twice a week in the morning plug in before walking in and take out when walking out is all it takes to keep it charged.
Used a supercharger a few times on trips, never had to wait. Also charged at couple hotels overnight on trips.
Taiwan is pretty perfect for EV’s since the distances are so small here.
Which one did you get?
Fast car.
Which I could use Bitcoin to buy one. Don’t really want to pay retail price for the Tesla, but crypto is my play money anyway. Pity they didn’t accept it in Taiwan meanwhile Elon’s tweet lasted.
Was he trying to look cool driving with it open or did he not notice the door was open.
Why are people so stupid sometimes…
Well electric motors has a lot more torque than engines, so in acceleration an electric car should outperform even the best gas cars.
If you can somehow use a fuel cell or energy storage that rivals gasoline, an electric car will win every time.
