Hint: Don’t try to criticize anything Biden does on environment for the next while unless preceding it by “Though a massive improvement over President Trump…”
I doubt Biden was even involved in the decision-making process.
Rinse and repeat for the next 4 years.
Nope. Asking for credible sources is a different thing. For the record Breitbart isn’t a news source, it’s for entertainment purposes only
Look at the numbers in Australia and NZ. They’re going broke without the Chinese students
Well ya. They build these 5-star like campuses. Who’s gonna fund them?
Why do I need glass buildings, perfectly maintained lawns in a university?
The UK as well.
I hope they rethink the dependence on Chinese students. It’s not good for the university and a negative experience for students.
Cheating is rampant, a lot of them in my class are talking about cheating in groups for the test. Some of them can barely speak English.
Many of them don’t participate in class at all.
I know the school isn’t ignorant of these issues.
Back to Joe. Hmm, what to do, what to do?
Although naming a new attorney general is the most pressing judicial personnel matter Biden faces, it’s not the only one. A potentially fraught decision is whether to replace David Weiss (pictured), the federal prosecutor investigating Hunter Biden’s tax returns and business dealings in China and Ukraine.
Let’s see if this interesting conflict of interest story takes hold.
Has Biden even spoken to the real instances of verifiable fraud that investigators and filthy lawyers have submitted to the Courts?
That seems odd. Love my crazy knucklehead kid and I won without really even trying hard, so back off, Lovable Joe? Not even a bit curious?
The 36-page report “assesses the fairness and integrity of the 2020 Presidential Election by examining six dimensions of alleged election irregularities across six key battleground states” and concludes that “patterns of election irregularities … are so consistent across the six battleground states that they suggest a coordinated strategy to, if not steal the election, strategically game the election process in such a way as to … unfairly tilt the playing field in favor of the Biden-Harris ticket.”
Joe has some serious cleaning up to do.
Federal officials issued an urgent warning on Thursday that hackers who American intelligence agencies believed were working for the Kremlin used a far wider variety of tools than previously known to penetrate government systems, and said that the cyberoffensive was “a grave risk to the federal government.”
The discovery suggests that the scope of the hacking, which appears to extend beyond nuclear laboratories and Pentagon, Treasury and Commerce Department systems, complicates the challenge for federal investigators as they try to assess the damage and understand what had been stolen.
Minutes after the statement from the cybersecurity arm of the Department of Homeland Security, President-elect Joseph R. Biden Jr. warned that his administration would impose “substantial costs” on those responsible.
“A good defense isn’t enough; we need to disrupt and deter our adversaries from undertaking significant cyberattacks in the first place,” Mr. Biden said, adding, “I will not stand idly by in the face of cyberassaults on our nation.”
President Trump has yet to say anything about the attack.
Why hasn’t Trump made a statement about this?
There was a joint statement put out about this, although the key questions, who did this, why did they do it and what was the goal seem unresolved, although I have my suspicions.
By the way a 18th of December report by the DNI has been postponed, it seems to be because it is going to include details of this hack. The DNI did say Iran, Russia and China all interfered in this years general election.
China wants Biden to end the Phase 1 Trade Deal ASAP.
(Caution this is a CCP approved propaganda news source)
“ … looking “tough” on China is the most important thing, and the cost and damage to the US economy or other economies don’t matter. If Biden gives in to pressure to continue that approach, it would do no good for anyone - not China, not the US and certainly not the world.
Biden, who has been in US politics for decades, must be aware of that. But so far, he appears to be heading in the wrong direction, as he stated in a recent interview that he would not make an “immediate move” on the tariffs. He also suggested he would form a unified front with allies against China.
…The bottom line: Wielding the tariff stick did not work on China under Trump, and it will not work under Biden. So Mr. President-elect, drop the tariffs and start constructive dialogue with China that will bring concrete benefits to the American people who voted for you.”
AFAIK, he hasn’t spoken about sasquatches or the hollow earth yet, either, even though both are more credible. Must be a cover-up.
I think some of Biden’s picks seem a bit too forced, almost like he’s trying too hard. But I do like this one. I mean putting a Native American in this role makes sense. Don’t know if she’s the best Native American for the role, though, since I know nothing about her, but the idea behind this pick is a good one.
President-elect Joe Biden selected New Mexico Rep. Deb Haaland as his nominee for interior secretary on Thursday, a historic pick that would make her the first Native American to lead the powerful federal agency that has wielded influence over the nation’s tribes for generations.
Haaland, 60, is a member of the Pueblo of Laguna and, as she likes to say, a 35th-generation resident of New Mexico. The role of interior secretary would put her in charge of an agency that has tremendous sway not only over the nearly 600 federally recognized tribes, but also over much of the nation’s vast public lands, waterways, wildlife, national parks and mineral wealth.
“A good defense . . . I will not stand idly by . . . .”
Playing the victim only works with those who haven’t been paying attention.
Iran
See also: Operation Olympic Games and StuxnetIn June 2010, Iran was the victim of a cyber attack when its nuclear facility in Natanz was infiltrated by the cyber-worm ‘Stuxnet’, said to be the most advanced piece of malware ever discovered and significantly increases the profile of cyberwarfare. It destroyed perhaps over 1,000 nuclear centrifuges and, according to a Business Insider article, " Tehran’s atomic program back by at least two years."
Despite a lack of official confirmation, Gary Samore, White House Coordinator for Arms Control and Weapons of Mass Destruction, made a public statement, in which he said, “we’re glad they [the Iranians] are having trouble with their centrifuge machine and that we—the US and its allies—are doing everything we can to make sure that we complicate matters for them”, offering “winking acknowledgement” of US involvement in Stuxnet.
China
See also: PRISM (surveillance program)In 2013, Edward Snowden, a former systems administrator for the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and a counterintelligence trainer at the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), revealed that the United States government had hacked into Chinese mobile phone companies to collect text messages and had spied on Tsinghua University, one of China’s biggest research institutions, as well as home to one of China’s six major backbone networks, the China Education and Research Network (CERNET), from where internet data from millions of Chinese citizens could be mined. He said U.S. spy agencies have been watching China and Hong Kong for years.
According to classified documents provided by Edward Snowden, the National Security Agency (NSA) has also infiltrated the servers in the headquarters of Huawei, China’s largest telecommunications company and the largest telecommunications equipment maker in the world. The plan is to exploit Huawei’s technology so that when the company sold equipment to other countries—including both allies and nations that avoid buying American products—the NSA could roam through their computer and telephone networks to conduct surveillance and, if ordered by the president, offensive cyberoperations.
Russia
In June 2019, Russia has conceded that it is “possible” its electrical grid is under cyber-attack by the United States. The New York Times reported that American hackers from the United States Cyber Command planted malware potentially capable of disrupting the Russian electrical grid.
All roads lead to Beijing
A serious mess for Joe to deal with although serious seems like an understatement
The officials said that the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, which has been helping to manage the federal response to the broad hacking campaign, indicated to FERC this week that CISA was overwhelmed and might not be able to allocate the necessary resources to respond. DOE will therefore be allocating extra resources to FERC to help investigate the hack, even though FERC is a semi-autonomous agency, the officials said.
Several top officials from CISA, including its former director Christopher Krebs, have either been pushed out by the Trump administration or resigned in recent weeks.
Jesus Christ. It is not like China does not have the cyber capabilities to levy this kind of attack, but there is already a consensus it was Russia. I am sure you are choosing not to believe that though - along with the pretty open secret that Trump has been Putin’s bitch boy from day 1 of his presidency. Clear as day to anyone that is paying attention.
