I have a gasoline powered generator to provide electricity to the entire house in the event of power failure. Comes in real handy when a typhoon causes power outages.

Fortunately Taiwan also makes a lot of its own drugs, the common ones anyway. Taiwan is a bit of powerhouse that way. Our weak point is mainly energy but coal and oil are easy to import and won’t run out. Food a bit of a question mark but there’s no shortage of food when you have the money.

We went out for some last minute shopping in Sydney today before our flight back to Taiwan tonight. Coming back to the Car afterwards and a woman was filling the back of hers - with Toilet Paper. I was tempted to pull my phone out and take a photo to shame her, but couldn’t be bothered…just gave her a long stare.
