The Taiwanese government’s plan is working! Dual citizenship for those who are going to be forefeiting it in death soon.

They draw the line at 90, if you’ve almost reach there then they give the citizenship to you, but you better have had stayed here for at least 60years to even be considered

I always figure that the closed-door deliberations after the interview has ended go something like this.
He’s 89 so he’s gonna die soon anyways. Barely a risk to give him dual citizenship and we can use the PR to attempt to look good.
