I for one would love to imagine this does, indeed, mark the high-water mark of wokeness, in all its forms, among the American left.

The Economist/YouGov survey, conducted January 23â26 among 1,684 U.S. adult citizens, found that 67 percent of Americans oppose allowing transgender student athletes to compete on sports teams that match their gender identity rather than their biological sex, while just 22 percent support the policy. Another 11 percent said they were unsure.
The Washington Free Beacon , which also highlighted the findings, noted that the issue is increasingly uncomfortable for Democratic leaders who have declined to articulate clear positions despite mounting public resistance.
âTwo-thirds of U.S. voters oppose allowing biological men to compete in womenâs sports,â the Free Beacon reported, adding that even voters aligned with Democrats are breaking from party orthodoxy on the issue.

I had a funny dream last night. I was part of a group of people trying to survive a zombie apocalypse. It was a mix of people, some old, some my age, some Gen Z. I guess there was some squabbling within the group about what to do. I made a crack that the âwoke kids will be too busy to fight back as theyâll spend all their time thinking up a new pronoun to call the zombies.â I think we got swarmed soon after and I woke up. I donât know. I thought that was pretty witty for a dream joke.
