The Pocahontas 1/2020th thread, aka E. Warren

Listen. I agree.

I honestly do.

But, and like my Aunt Cindy, this is a BIG but:

Trump was and still is a piece of shit. That has not changed a bit, and safe to say, it’s gotten worse.

Her base will support her. They will ultimately be indifferent to the whole sad racist saga. Additionally, this ideological Catch 22 Indian clusterf8ck stuff will strengthen and embolden them as Trump’s last honest Sorry strengthened HIS base: “I said bad things when I said I grab them by the pussy and they like it. I had to actually like talk to my family about that one. It was hard. I mean, not that, the discussion. Fake news. They like enjoyed watching me weasel my way back into their light, and I felt like I gave away like waaaay too much. Jared is all over the place, and IDevenK what Ivanka is up to? These kids are killers. I trained them. I live in constant fear.”

I paraphrase, but you get the drift, yeah?

Elizabeth Bader Warren is the new spear tip for women and soon for Dems. Going to have to deal with that sooner or later, horse face guy. She’s pandering to the right people now, the Party Heads:

Yeah, that worked for Bubbette.

Yeah, unlike Hillary, Warren actually has a record. Like it or not, she’s a dog and she bites.

That may be, and I think she’s improving daily as a candidate. I still think she loses to Trump, for multiple reasons. Most importantly she’s already adopted new policy positions that are well left of the independent voter and even some Democrats (open borders, free shit including GND, 2A, others). There is no way back to the center for her, she’s burned too many bridges.

Now, will #orangemanbad overcome that and cause 2016 Trump voters to change teams? Unclear, and more likely doubtful. Will it help her capture independents who vote in Democrat primaries? I think it is now, but everything changes when she captures the nomination. That’s when things count.

Crabs deeper in the bucket reaching up to pull Pocahontas back into the pack? This would be the only reason (for me) to watch the upcoming debate.

Warren seems to think Pocahontas is behind her, and so do many of her supporters. But I’m pretty sure she’s wrong. The best outcome for the 2020 Democrats would be if SBVT-level attacks are launched now, by fellow Democrats, rather than a year from now when they’re most assuredly launched by the GOP.

It will be interesting to learn whether the Democrats have the stomach to endure reducing the House of Warren to its bare bones (while Trump is simultaneously tweeting about it) in order to rebuild her from the ground up. Still, it’s better if more transparency of Warren comes at the hands of Democrats while there’s time to recover than at the hands of the GOP with no time to recover.

This is a picture we Americans will probably see a lot of in a year. Like, a lot.

on a side note, wasn’t the U.S. supposed to only sell LED light bulbs, because stores still carry those cool environmentally-unfriendly light bulbs we all grew up with, but I digress

Plastic bags and straws became evil after we started to see pics of animals getting stuck with them. Wait until some photographer will share photos of a Koala with a light bulb stuck up its ass, and you’ll see how quickly politicians will jump on the light-bulb-ban wagon.

Those compact flourescents worked out just great.

I think it’s high time the Pocahontas campaign re-released her DNA info. Should be -
1/1,024 South American
1,000/1,024 white European
23/1,024 weasel.

Anybody want to bet the DNC keeps Pocahontas off the same stage as Tulsi in the upcoming debate? I’m thinking Tulsi’s weasel-killing skilz are going to be deemed unwelcome there (I certainly hope I’m proven wrong).

Warren seems to be congenitally unable to speak the whole truth about most things in her life. Figures, then, that she’s rapidly becoming a Democrat favorite.

A new poll by a firm linked to Joe Biden is testing messages designed to undercut support among Democrats for Medicare for All, one of the most contentious issues splitting the party’s top presidential contenders.

The survey, commissioned by the centrist Democratic think tank Third Way, found that primary voters start off favoring the government-run health care system by a margin of 70% to 21%, but can be persuaded to oppose it. The study showed that Democrats are most swayed by the arguments that the program would impose a heavy cost on taxpayers and threaten Medicare for senior citizens.

Really should switch everything to LED in the house. Saves money and last significantly longer.

Oh man, the harsh. :sob:

C’mon, Goldman Democrats, lighten up. You know Pocahontas vs Trump would be - by a very wide margin - the absolutely most educational election we in the US could ever have.

Would she cost them Congress? Would she tear the Democrat party in two? Do we Americans love twofers?

Let 'er run!

Wall Street Democratic donors warn the party: We’ll sit out, or back Trump, if you nominate Elizabeth Warren

Democratic donors on Wall Street and in big business are preparing to sit out the presidential campaign fundraising cycle — or even back President Donald Trump — if Sen. Elizabeth Warren wins the party’s nomination.

Indeed it looks as if she may become the primary contender . However , after living all these years , I have realized that things can change in the blink of an eye . My concerns are that too many voters can base their decision on such trivia , that policy and direction seem to fly out of the window. There used to be the concept of “ floating voters” who decided at the last minute . I think that proportion has decreased with the polarization seen today in politics ( both USA and UK) . You would have thought that she has already been shown to be just another unscrupulous politician , but perhaps she will be perceived as “ less “ unscrupulous than the rest . Lots of smearing and scandal to come , it’s like that old box of chocolates :slightly_smiling_face:. I worry more about how to establish paragraphs on this bloody iPhone , without starting some complex edit algorithm :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

There is no ‘we americans’ in Trump support.

There is supporting America, or Trump support.

I can understand why someone that gets their socialist health care on the cheap from taiwan might confuse trumpy sopranos nightly buffoon hour as American.

The real Americans that have to live this arent laughing. Theyre working harder for less with no health care. Do you realize that?

Trump is reviled except by his dwindling Anti American base of sarcastic cowards and only they buy this farce.

If more people think like you , then it seems Trump may well survive another term and the “ everyone hates him and he has zero chance “ misconception lesson has been arrogantly forgotten . We shall all see soon enough I guess . Warren is more of a threat than some others because she can be perceived as reasonable , whilst playing down her true policies so as not to frighten too many moderates :smirk: I will not resort to calling her supporters “ names “ , only point out that in my opinion they may repeat the same strategy mistakes .

There are no two individuals alike. These cheap one liner people like you type comments only show fear and animosity.

There is your chat room ‘America’ of memes where mocking autistic children and glorifying abuse of power is the norm.

Then there is the real America of people working 3 jobs with no health coverage. You got anything for them besides memes and snark? If not, you may understand the appeal of a dem candidate to those not lucky enough to get free socialist health care.

ZZZzzzzzz.
Must be catching up for all that lost time.
PC is dead.

Liberals have known that for years. Why are you still talking about it?

The only place i hear anyone care about pc is in chatrooms of trump supporters. Let it go

Well I prefer not to use ad hominem attacks on other posters , so I won’t respond in that way … or I have lost any argument . I guess people can offer lots of free stuff to give those many hope and I guess many will believe that policy will work . Except many voters think it won’t . As the battles have become so acrimonious, I suspect Trump supporters tend not to let people know how they will vote until they vote . You seem to have eradicated any consideration as to the consequences of policy . I get it … but life in the USA still appears to be better than in many places . You can always come back to Taiwan if you prefer …happy to buy you a beer . Peace and enjoy the lack of Socialism whilst you can :joy::slightly_smiling_face:
