Question: could we see the horrific heat waves such as Italy -48, degrees- in Taiwan? I remember a special kind of wind that brings 42 degree heat to Taitung in particular.

@urodacus?

Yeah, back in Calgary they’re called a chinook, coming down from the Rockies.

It’s very cool in Taipei today, like a huge difference from yesterday. Almost like autumn.

I like how it’s back to afternoon showers to cool down the commute home.

However, it doesn’t rain long enough, so humidity skyrockets to 1000% in the evenings.

Nice in Fulong today.

That shows rain. Did it rain there?

No, didn’t rain in Fulong all day. Don’t know about after dark.

Sorry, I looked too quickly and thought it was covered in green and blue. But I was looking at Yilan, not Fulong :man_facepalming:t4:

I luckily had a meeting right as that red batch floated over Taipei. Luckily, the new tires on the GGR came through.

Rained so hard, my scooter rain jacket didn’t dry overnight. It was that wet.

There is a big red and purple patch floating over SW NTC and Taoyuan right now with lots of lightening and very heavy rain.

Enjoying the light(ning) show here in Banqiao. Rain not really started yet.

Rain is coming from the East here, at an angle of about 45 deg. Lots of windows getting a long overdue wash, and some balconies getting flooded from open windows too.

Here comes the rain. Pretty bright still, so should be a rainbow somewhere

I’m pretty sure it rained in Fulon and around.

And I’m pretty sure rain just came from the West.

What’s wrong with you guys?
