The last segment.
In what turned out to be the final segment of FOX News Channel’s “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” Tucker spoke with “pizza hero” Tyler Morell from Coco’s Pizza in Delaware County, Pennsylvania.

Because when the company has a 3/4 Billion $ settlement, there’s going to be some cleaning house. But they’ll just move on to the next screaming head - they fired their previous highest rating guy (Bill O’Reilly - and he only cost Fox like a $40M settlement (and they might have a Tucker settlement coming too)), and Tucker was basically getting the same ratings as he was in the same time slot. They might also make a push to get some legit advertisers back.
Whoa. I was wondering if some of his comments to Vivek might have been a bridge too far.
Imahine how much money Tucker is going to make for his enforsement of presidential and other candidates.
A little disappointed that Fox, as far as I have had time to view, has not given any word or explanation on Tucker’s departure.
Good bye Sling TV.
Tucker Carlson said some really strange stuff about a month ago. Perhaps he was already anticipating the sacking and was trying to make more inroads with the conspiratorial InfoWars crowd? Assuming (and I think its quite safe to) that this was a lie, it wouldn’t have been the 1st or even 50th time he made some BS up just to get people going.
Glenn Greenwald puts the firing down to Tucker’s lack of support for the bipartisan war machine.
I’d say that was one of the reasons, airing Jan 6th footage that was unfavorable to the “insurrection” narrative had them grabbing their Betsy Wetsy dolls and then more recently he has been going on about how the MSM is just a control mechanism and the “journalists” are the Praetorian Guard for the ruling elite as I recall he went on to say he was ashamed to have been a part of it.
Perhaps all those things and more.
Crazy shot in the dark here, but maybe… maybe his firing was at least partially due to:
“A few days ago, Fox News settled a lawsuit with Dominion Voter Systems over fraud claims relating to the 2020 president race. The settlement was massive, with Fox paying $787 million. Tucker Carlson is largely seen as the main Fox host associated with the claims that caused the lawsuit, and it is assumed that his termination relates to that.”
Nahhhhh I am sure not even close to related
A liar peddling (verified in court even) lies and we believed them for so long, even to the point of letting said lies format a good chunk of our political perspective? A bridge too far I say.
For the boss, seems he’s starting to cost more than he’s worth. Why can’t it be a simple money motivation?
It could just be that. The Abby Grossberg lawsuit might have been the final straw. Lots of mysteries surrounding his sacking to be sure. I am definitely not under the impression I know 100% for certain why he was outed. But yeah, in general he crossed the threshold of being more trouble than he was worth. For some reason, Bill O’ Reilly is coming to mind. What a cycle lol.
Abby Grossberg, an ex-producer for "Tucker Carlson Tonight," is suing the host and other Fox executives, saying they promoted a culture of misogyny.
Tucker’s lack of support for the bipartisan war machine.
Correct. People need to understand that preparations are under way - there’s no room for dissent in the mainstream media as we head to war. This is why I think Twitter will certainly undergo another clamping down by Mid year.
We are in an epic trade war, hot war in Eastern Europe, and on the brink of something major in Asia. The Allies need maximum control of the narrative going into this situation purely out of national security needs.
Some are putting it down to this speech, in which he makes a pretty clear break with the Republican party.
Crazy shot in the dark here, but maybe… maybe his firing was at least partially due to:
He wasn’t anywhere near the worst offender in that, so it seems unlikely it was that directly. However Fox’s legal issues are complex and there could be something relevant in there somewhere.

Meh, far from the worst and many continue to gain accolades.
For the boss, seems he’s starting to cost more than he’s worth.
Surely that’s it somehow, but how so?
@2:47
You look around and you see so many people break, under the strain, under the downward pressure of whatever this is that we are going through, and you look with disdain and sadness as you see people you know become quisling. You see them revealed as cowards. You see them going along with the new new thing, which is clearly a poisonous thing, a silly thing. You know, saying things you know they don’t believe because they want to keep their job. So if there’s single person in this room who hasn’t seen that, …, raise your hand.
Also Tucker
I mean, it is so sad to see people revealed as cowards for lying to keep their jobs.
Perhaps all those things and more.
lol. Or none of them! He’s the primetime #1 election fraud liar and he got to take the fall for the entirety of Fox, because the entirety of Fox has shown to be complicit in knowingly and intentionally spreading lies about Dominion and all.
Not everything is a machiavellian power struggle which in it’s complexity rivals the court intrigues of an Empire. Someone had to take the fall so big Murdoch could keep on doing the only thing that matters to him – raking in the cash. And if this is enough of a PR stunt for undecided centrist liberals to say, “oh, maybe fox isn’t so bad anymore, they got rid of that idiot Tucker,” then it’s a huge win for Fox.
pretty clear break with the Republican party
If he makes a “clear break” it’s pretty wild to see him saying all the same dumb shit that’s typical of the Republicans, and he’s doing it at a terminally republican think org, so I’m not convinced at all of this lol. The first twenty minutes and what’s not republican about it? Saying pronouns are dumb, check, I’m willfully ignorant about LGBT and i don’t care, check, calling people sheep for George Floyd COVID and Ukraine, check, pretending like he has been telling the truth and uncovering everyone else’s lies for last few years, lol yep got that. But he does say “the republicans, ugh!” at one point. What a clean, real, totally not manufactured major break.
At least they offered him a job if things go down at Fox news – maybe they were in on it too!!
I did like one line of his speech:
“It’s not brave to tell the truth on a cable news show, and if you’re not doing that, you’re really an idiot! You’re really craven!”
Self burrrrrrnnnnn
hey we both had a laugh at that portion hilarious to see this shill moralizing like that.
I mean, it is so sad to see people revealed as cowards for lying to keep their jobs.
Where?
He’s the primetime #1 election fraud liar
He certainly wasn’t. But he was the only notable corporate media voice who would voice anti-establishment, anti-war, anti-censorship etc. opinions and platform corresponding figures. The other day, for example, he supported black socialists who were arrested on Russiagate charges. It was refreshing from the cesspit of corporate media while it lasted.
By the way the #1 election fraud liars are surely everyone who blathered on about Russiagate for 4 years after Trump’s legitimate election.
