@Insight_tw this is the Ukraine invaded by Russia thread, we have threads all over the place discussing a possible Taiwan invasion, most have us have discussed it from every conceivable perspective. We get that an invasion of Ukraine may make a move by China more likely, but it’s all hypothetical.

The invasion of Ukraine has amplified the risk of a Chinese invasion

I believe that a Russian invasion may open a vacuum of power in the south China sea especially if NATO forces choose to commit to defending the Ukraine. Fighting in the Ukraine could destabilize defense of Taiwan by the west. What do you think? Could the west engaging with Russia lead to a Chinese invasion?
