Wack anti-gay-marriage protester

Of course girls don’t like the idea of gay guys, because gay guys aren’t into them. I’m a guy and I don’t like the idea of lesbians, because lesbians wouldn’t like me.

I was talking about bi guys and bi gals, not gay guys and lesbians. Very different.

I was saying that even among women here who are NOT homophobic, many seem to be bi-phobic. Should have been more clear.

This discussion is getting pretty wack, but interesting.

The whole point of this thread!

Mandarin has a lot of homophones

Those homophobic phones… tsk tsk tsk.

You’re missing the point. Gay guys, and thus bi guys, are the opposite of what a man “should” be. A manly man. Girls are turned off by two guys making out.
The ideal woman is simply beautiful and tender, and guys are turned on by two girls making out. There’s nothing about gay/bi girls that is counter to the idea of a sexy girl.

It’s pretty simple really

Girl on girl doesn’t turn me on at all. Seems like more of a trope to me.

You seem to be the one who is missing the point.

If a bi guy is in a relationship with a woman, why would there be two men making out? Where did the other man come from? There is no other man in the picture. There is only one man, who happens to be bi, and one woman in the relationship.

The fact that the man also happens to like guys is of no consequence to the relationship, because he wouldn’t be kissing another man if he is in a committed relationship with the woman.

It’s ok if women are turned off by two guys making out, but why would a woman who is dating a bi guy be subject to seeing two men making out?

Besides, just because a man is bi doesn’t mean he has ever made out with a guy, or been in a relationship with a guy.

Why do you keep lumping gay guys and bi guys into the same category. They’re very different.

I can see why you would stereotype gay guys as not being “manly men”, but most men I know who are bi are as “manly” as any other guys I know. In fact, most bi guys I know are “manlier” than many straight men I know.

If any woman here reading this disagrees, keep in mind that any of the “manly men” you are dating, or had previously dated, could very well be bi and never told you. You wouldn’t know a bi guy from a straight guy.

I’m not. Not even in the slightest.

Neither am I. Besides, most straight guys I know would NOT be into any of the lesbians I know, but that’s neither here nor there.

Let’s not exclude men who have sex with men.

I’ve never understood that definition. Rent boys?

Do you mean men who have sex with men but aren’t into them romantically? Yeah, there’s that too.

That sounds possibly white and eurocentric. Cleo Manago is your go-to.

You’ve lost me completely, but if it would move the topic away from this thread, then you don’t need to feel obligated to explain it to me.

It puts me off too. In fact, most straight guys I know would definitely NOT be into any of the lesbians I know.

Maybe in a practical sense, but I think most women would have a problem with knowing that a man is bi / is sexually attracted to men.

Nah, they’re the same as far as this goes.

Yeah, I know guys who are gay who you’d never guess.

But what’s relevant to this discussion is peoples’ perceptions. Generally speaking, I think most people perceive gay men as being less manly. Stereotype or not, we’re talking about what people think.

Those saying that two girls making out doesn’t turn you on, fair enough, but you’re in the minority. And I’m sure 5x as many men would be turned on by two women as women would be by two men. I would even bet that as many straight women would be turned on by two women as would be turned on by two men.

I of course would not be ok with my gf having a side chick… I’m not into open relationships no matter what sex the other person is. BUT, if my gf wanted to experiment with having sex with a woman, fine by me as long as I’m there and can watch… Absolutely not the case tho for her to touch another man.

Apparently some of you don’t feel the same way, but if you polled men on their interest in a FFM threesome or a MMF threesome, you’d see one a lot more popular than the other… I think more women would take the FFM than the MMF as well.

Well, men aren’t generally into butch lesbians. Only lesbians / bi girls who a guy would be into if she were straight.

Group of mixed sex friends in a pub a few years ago, one guy showed female companion a photo of 2 men doing a 69 as a joke.
She looked and was physically sick and became very angry.
So yeah gay men in action don’t turn girls in for sure.
