Stuff going out of stock and not reordered for 2 months. Items randomly disappearing with no explanation. Staff bombing down the aisles like there is a fire, hauling pallets through the store, standing precariously on the top rung of step ladders to arrange boxes in the aisle.
Carrefour here is run exactly like its local competitors. There seems to be no standards enforced by its home office. Just “run it as cheaply as you can over there guys.”
A brand of Emirates dates I like have been gone for a couple of months. The ticket is still there so I am hopeful they might reappear. Rice krispies disappeared about 6 months ago with no explanation. Swedish coffee I like, Lofbergs not reordered since Oct last year.
Ok. File a formal written complaint in store, send me a copy and I’ll hand it to head office management when I see them. Be specific and I’ll make sure importers get the message. No guarantees though.
They sometimes like to chat with me cause many of them are from France and I work nearby.
Both the woman upstairs and the woman downstairs from us in our gongyu, middle aged mothers with kids in primary/high school, sleep in until 9-10 every morning. Their kids just sort themselves out and get off to school on their own. How do I know they sleep so late? I have seen the mothers shamelessly come downstairs in their pyjamas, all bleary eyed, when the postman does his parcel drop down on the ground floor. Other hints that make it evident are the whole building is deathly quiet until that time, as a neighbour you just know.
None of my business I know… but I have to say it…
What sort of no hoper parent sleeps in until 9-10 every morning?
Any idea what time they get off work? Perhaps they have a job–an essential part of raising children, as you may be aware–which requires them to stay up to a time which makes it necessary to sleep until the apparently ungodly hour of 9 or 10?
