Felt like a video game, and the special effects were beyond cheap-looking. I don’t get its acclaim at all.
Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery: Directed by Rian Johnson. With Daniel Craig, Edward Norton, Janelle Monáe, Kathryn Hahn. Famed Southern detective Benoit Blanc travels to Greece for his latest case.

Slightly better than the first movie but it’s still kind of just fine. Some of the jokes are funny, but the wacky ending really took me out.
Marcel the Shell with Shoes On: Directed by Dean Fleischer-Camp. With Jenny Slate, Dean Fleischer-Camp, Isabella Rossellini, Joe Gabler. Feature adaptation of the animated short film interviewing a mollusk named Marcel.

Charming mockumentary. It felt like a warm hug.

Knives Out, I’m just not into them.
They’re blatantly trying to be what they are, which makes them boring doll laborious without wit or charm.

This is not a movie tho but rather asian series. Glad They released the season 2 of Alice in Borderlands and finally concluded the series. Except for the Joker Twist Part.
Tried watching Tár but finally succumbed to the pretentious verbosity.
Gain:
Tar is really good.
All I know is it has something to do with a powerful woman being brought down by the #MeToo movement. That would be an interesting switch up — if I’d been able to endure all the pretentious hot air.

Saw it last night and thought it was merely ok. Then again Spielberg is generally not my jam.
The pretentiousness is part of the buildup before her downfall.
