Apparently I’m on the libertarian left. Not a huge surprise, but I thought I’d be more centrist.

Seems not too far off, although the way a lot of the questions are posed is pretty loaded.

Yeah, I agree… it says it’s 20 years old so the questions are also a bit dated. A lot of social issue stuff that was controversial back then, especially concerning homosexual relationships, is much more widely accepted across the political spectrum now.

Mine was virtually the same as yours. I expected it to be more central/ right leaning.
Thinking about it, of course I am left leaning.
The sjw and woke left had me second guessing myself.

I’m not surprised that I came out as “left libertarian”, but I think my responses to questions on things like homosexuality which, as others have mentioned, are now normal across the political spectrum (in the West), pushed me more to the left than I think I really am. There’s no way I’m actually that far to the left…
Then again, 20 years ago, I probably would have absolutely placed myself that far to the left.
I think a test like this today would include more identity politics type stuff and my answers to those would definitely drag me back towards the centre.
Not bad, some questions are bit vague/open though:
If it was made today it probably would include a lot of COVID related questions (eg: “do you believe in mask mandates?”), “social justice”/woke questions (eg: “do you support trans athletes competing in female sports”?) and probably some stuff about social media, voting rights, gun laws, and other stuff more in the news now. I probably would be more centered in my outcome.
