Where to buy second hand scooter/motorbikes?

I’m looking to buy a second hand scooter anywhere between 150-250 cc. I might consider a motorbike too. I’ve read a lot of recommendations for Yamaha over other brands like Sys and Kymco, but I’m open to anything that is reliable and relatively cheap. No electric/Gogoro though.

So my question is where can I buy a second hand scooter/motorbike in and around Taipei? Any shops/venues/resell groups to recommend? I’m already checking Facebook group “Taiwan Motorbikes and Scooters Buy/sell/rent/parts”.

No first hand experience, but many people say to check the local mom and pop scooter shops.

When I lived there my girlfriend (later to be my wife) told me she had to break up with me because anyone stupid enough to buy a used scooter in taiwan isnt smart enough to take care of a family. I had just gone through 3 used scooters/motorcycles that ended up having so many problems that the local mechanics didnt want to work on them anymore. I bought a new honda clone for 30,000nt in 2002 monies and never had another scooter problem.
