Yeah i picked the right toll booth to go through. Was on my way back to my apt in wanli. And it was starting to rain. Noticed there were two toll girls at the booth. One girl was off duty and normally she catches a passing bus but she asked me if she could hitch a ride. I said sure hop in. It started to rain like for NOAH. I said to her I would just drop her off in Shuihong (ruifang) where she said she lived instead of Keelung where the highway bus normally goes. She instead asked where I was going. I said home to wanli and we ended up at my place. The rest…shall stay in the memory vault. Dont worry she ended up back at her home in shuihong safe and sound later after the rain stopped. We went out a few times after later but we were not a fit, maybe i didnt give her more time?
She seemed to be quite direct. She asked me where i lived and when i replied she asked who else was there? I said nobody. And that’s when she said she will accompany me to my house.

I have always been so NOT a player. I just go with the flow when girls that are cute want to go home with me, i just say sure.
I know I know, i just get PLAYED. i know.

HA ha! nice joke!

the young people don’t know what to do without a phone in their face 24/7. its a sad state of affairs.

yeah i guess our world is a different place than todays world !!

The young set flip through a coupla pics and profile of the opposite sex I guess.

Its all Tindr and the such now I guess.

We used to be out there and meeting people. It was more romantic I think.

One of my top romances was meeting her while sailing a sunfish on fulung. She joined me for the whole day and i escorted her to the train that evening back to taipei ( i was staying on in fulung) I slipped her my phone number on a juicy fruit wrapper and she called me a few days later.

Should make a movie out of that.

Sailing in Taiwan? Need the details. Been wanting to sail for a while but it didn’t seem like a thing out here.

This was some time ago . I went to Fulung and noticed someone sailing a Sunfish. The guy said he bought it off a ship being wrecked in Kaoshiung. Back when Ktown was wrecking ships.

And he and his brother copied the thing. Made a fiberglass mould of it and made copies. It was a fun thing to do. I was just out of high school and started going to fulung to sail on those things. The guy ran a restaurant and he his bro had just come out of the marine corps so they had this group of guys all marines there goofing off for the summer. They had just gotten out of the marine corps. So it was a lot of fun sailing the sunfish in the day time and trying to pick up chicks. And drinking beer at night . Fulung only was accessible by train in those days. The road there was a small one that only motorcycles could use.

WE went on to sail those things in Ktown and at Shihmen Dam . Was a heck of a lot of fun. I don’t know if there is a sailing scene of any sort now. The Sunfish is tiny and very prone to flip over.
We sailed them in the ocean but not too far from shore. And we had jetskis if we got in trouble.

Dang, son…good story. Did she still have her uniform on? I love a woman in uniform. :sunglasses:

No sorry she had changed out of them. There is a tunnel under the booths and she went back to her booth and was chatting with her coworker who was on shift and waiting for a passing highway bus. Those buses are govt owned so they give these toll station girls free rides to and from work. When i stopped at the booth she suddenly asked me if she could catch a ride with me. That girl was direct and didn’t waste time getting what she wanted ! Kudos to her for that.
She told me most of the girls married the highway patrol cops who also are stationed at the toll stations. Makes sense.

Oh well. Can’t have everything, I guess.

Yeah and i also helped her out of whatever she had changed into …of course.

My favorite uniform removal experience involved a female high school military instructor.

The cow doesn’t kiss and tell. Let’s just say she had a loud voice and was well-versed in maintaining discipline.

It’s a very sad state and I do feel sorry for them. Most of them too stiff and awkward to talk to strangers and I mean other young people in particular .

You are a naïve, young, inexperienced, mark for this Indonesian woman. Anyone who can rescue her from her sad existence is on her radar.

You’re not special. You’ll do, that’s it.

My wife was in the US for her Phd program. We met at a party thrown by a mutual friend.
