Where's the best Malaysian or Singaporean food?

Kuning means yellow, so there’s hope  A search turns up a lot of examples of it. Sambal would mostly be wasted here, I think they’ll have it, but I’m an optimist

They do that a lot here, they’ll market some less heard of, regional or some other variant of a classic. I think it’s part quackery, and part excuse if they disappoint. There was a local cafe up the road that had “Icelandic cheesecake” on the menu. No regular cheesecake option mind…

I keep meaning to try Nyonya Kitchen near the Brother Hotel. Have to try soon

San Lim Laksa is not too far away from there (Civic Blvd/Fuxing) and MUCH better. Only been to Nyonya once and wasn’t impressed

I think Mr Chee Kopitiam has been mentioned. Looks like mostly noodles n soups with little variety.

What’s mentioned earlier in the thread is their Fuxing branch. The Roosevelt location is their Gongguan branch. The menus are a little different.

Mr. Chee Kopitiam Fushing was quite nice and spicy. nt$290 for curry chicken and sambal squid nasi lemak.

Then I saw this one. Don’t know if it’s been mentioned or not.

Good reviews. Looks simple.

Pulau Redang near National Palace Museum is labeled as vegetarian but it appears to be Malaysian food.

Went back to San San Lim today, I really enjoyed the Penang laksa. I don’t know if it was authentic, but it was quite sour and not at all sweet, which suggests to me they didn’t adapt it to local tastes. It had the amalgam of fresh flavors quality I associate with good Southeast Asian food.

What do you recommend?

That’s because Xinjiang food is not Chinese food.

Xinjiang is not part of China.

I think that food court is run by Breadtalk Group in Singapore.
