Mom’s Pies, linked above, does have pumpkin pie - I like their pies, but I’ve never tried the pumpkin.
They’ve got a few trucks that appear all over the place on a weekly schedule, often adjacent to MRT stations. Link for the schedule, Chinese only: 艾媽咪食品屋鄉村派 - 行動服務據點
And forumosa discussion of Mom’s Pies:
Anyone had these before? My niece brought some over the other day. I tried some blueberry cheesecake (blueberries tasted artificial) and some regular cheesecake (cloying). The shortcrust pastry cases, however, were outstandingly good – really flaky and crispy, even straight out of the fridge.
However, there were also a couple of slices of pecan pie, and that was absolutely delicious and that’s the one I’ll be having again for sure. Does anyone know anything about this company?
And an older thread about pumpkin pie:
I’m craving it. I know my family is eating it right now and it is may absolute favorite part of Thanksgiving. Since I don’t have an over, I can’t make it and it seems like most bakeries here don’t make pies. Is there anywhere that makes real pies? I haven’t had a birthday yet without pumpkin pie and I’m really going to miss it this year if I can’t find any.
Even just a slice with whipped creme on it and I’d be happy (although an entire pie would be better).
Please, if anyone knows where I …
