The foreign band of Che-emulating soldiers is then captured by the ChiComms and sent to Tibet as Taiwan is forced to surrender because Japan and the US never came?
It then takes 20 years for the Canadian government to then get some of these POWs back with the negotiation team led by Sophie Trudeau.

Might be uncomfortable to watch for different reasons.
